Bug report this time: .ogg files that were length-patched are cut off at 1:45 during playback in AV.
Not entirely sure whether this is within the scope of AV and/or whether it's an easy fix, but figured it'd be good to mention in any case.

Got a little bug,
I tried to copy/paste with the "time-based copy" function.
But when i pasted it back in, half of the notes become gray (offset early).
It's not because of stops, it are random notes.
Can PM you the file if that helps replicating the error.

Your editor is a really nice alternative to the SM5 editor and DDreamStudio (which seems to not be available anymore). Is the source code for ArrowVortex available somewhere? I would love to tinker with it and maybe attempt a Linux port.

Hi Bram,

I am Aldo Fregoso, the developer behind StepMania AMX, which is a SM 3.9 fork that DDR folks probably never heard of, but it was the inspiration behind the .SSC file format.

As you've probably already figured out, I'm a Pump It Up guy, and one of the pain points that PIU players like me have had in the past is that StepMania is a DDR simulator with 5 steps (not hating on DDR, but actually pointing out that they're different games and that we can actually appreciate and enjoy them on their own), but apparently it hasn't bothered most players since StepF2 is a thing, the PIU Scene has built massive projects like Pump Haven's Nostalgia Pack and even Andamiro built some official PIU Games with StepMania.

Anyway, I am building a new simulator from scratch which is backwards compatible with all the step files from PIU 1st to PIU NX2 and actually reads most of the step files from PIU NXA to PIU Prime 2 because Andamiro hasn't really changed the engine in the past 10 years. My intention with that simulator is to allow people to get creative and make complex steps without having to learn Lua scripting.

And this is where I want to ask you if you're interested in having me as a collaborator for Arrow Vortex, this is a list of all the step formats that I'm planning to support.

I've already built an editor that doesn't edit yet (lol) for NX10 and NX20 files (here is the NX20 file of PIU Fiesta's QH299 mission in case you're curious).

Anyway, thank you for building Arrow Vortex, and thank you for your time and effort, even if you're not interested in collaborating I'm actually in awe of the work you've built and I'll definitely try to take the best ideas from your work when it comes the time to build my own editor. Have a nice day.

Hi Bram,
can you put the code of ArrowVortex on GitHub or something else?

In this way other people could fix some bug and add some features (I know that probably you give up this project  )

Hi, have you considered open sourcing your project? I'm working on 3 player couples charts is ITG, and I would like to use ArrowVortex as charts editor. (It's the best editor available imo :> )

Also as Kimiko said it would improve the project overall.

Hi Bram!

Are there any docs available for how to import your own noteskins into AV? Alternatively, is the source code present anywhere? I would love to adapt this program to work for another use case, since it's an extremely useful editor.

Thanks!
